Kane County Cougars lead Baseball Champions League undefeated after Day3
The Kane County Cougars (American Association) opened Day 3 of the 2026 Baseball Champions League, defeating the CTBC Brothers (Chinese Professional Baseball League, CPBL), 16-10, at the end of a 30-hit slugfest, which included a 15-run first inning.
In the night game, Managua Dantos (Nicaraguan Pomares League) dominated Matanzas Cocodrilos (Cuba's Serie Nacional) with 19 hits, including three home runs. They took sole possession of second place with a 16-6 win.

Reliever Jorge Bucardo allowed a two-RBI single to leadoff hitter Yuliesky Remon before he could get out of the inning. He wouldn't allow another runner to the Cubans.
