Hallmark Stars Jen Lilley & Dan Jeannotte Team Up Again, 7 Years Later, for 'A Royal Setting' Movie!

Hallmark Channel‘s original movie this weekend will mark a reunion for two beloved stars of the network: Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte!

After starring in the movie Paris, Wine & Romance back in 2019, the actors are teaming up again for the movie A Royal Setting.

In the new film, Ruby (Lilley), a world-renowned gemologist, is hired by Prince Luca (Jeannotte) to restore the crown jewels and design his crown. This challenges tradition and complicates his relationship with his mother, the queen.

The actors have both opened up about working together again.

Jen told Swooon.com, “Working with Dan again was such a joy. Having history together makes the on-screen chemistry feel effortless—it’s already there, and you just get to play. We laughed a lot, worked hard, and I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better scene partner. I can’t wait for fans to see what we created—it feels really special!”

Dan told the outlet, “Reuniting with Jen was such a treat! She really sets the gold standard for how great a costar can be. She’s so good at what she does, and such a professional… but also (and this is crucially important to me) she can be very, very silly. All around, she’s a wonderful person to be on set with. I consider myself doubly lucky to have had a chance to work with her a second time!”

This also marks a homecoming for Jen, who hasn’t been in a Hallmark movie since 2022.

A Royal Setting premieres on Saturday (March 28) at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel and will be available for streaming the next day on Hallmark+. Watch a trailer below!
