How to watch Phillies vs. Rangers opening series
The Philadelphia Phillies open their 2026 season at home this week against the Texas Rangers.
Their pursuit of a fifth consecutive postseason appearance begins with a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park.
The series starts Thursday with Opening Day, with first pitch scheduled for 4:15 p.m. After an off day Friday, the two teams will conclude the series with games on Saturday and Sunday.
Last season, the Phillies swept the Rangers in a three-game series in Arlington. It was their only meeting that year. They have previously faced each other to open the season in 2014 and 2023, both times in Texas.
