Man remanded in connection with bust theft from monument
A 36-year-old arrested in connection with the theft of four busts from a monument in Yermasoyia has been remanded in custody for five days by the Limassol district court.
The busts were stolen between March 19 and 21.
While investigating the case, the police arrested the suspect, who was found in possession of one of the busts.
When questioned, the man said he found it and admitted to trying to sell it. He denied any knowledge of it being stolen.
Police investigations are ongoing.
