De Zerbi likes his goalkeepers to act like outfield players during his team’s attacking build-ups, which will benefit Antonin Kinsky.
It sounds mad saying this after his howler against Atletico Madrid, but Kinsky is actually a very good passer of the ball, for the most part.
The 23-year-old developed a strong reputation of playing with the ball at his feet at Slavia Prague and De Zerbi could help restore his confidence in this area.

Whereas, the England international makes inverted runs and usually prefers to play grounded balls. This is more in line with De Zerbi’s style, as he is not a big fan of hoofing balls into the penalty area.
The manager prefers his full-backs to be dynamic and cover lots of ground, which should play to the strengths of a player like Spence.

Tudor’s preference to field two strikers has been a huge blow to Xavi Simons, as it has omitted his role in attacking midfield.
However, the Dutchman would be starting again with De Zerbi in charge, as the 46-year-old tends to play with a 4-2-3-1 formation more often than not.
It felt like Simons was being held back when Frank was the Spurs manager, but his fortunes could really change with someone who knows how to get the best out of him.
