FKA twigs Sues Ex Shia LaBeouf Again, This Time Over NDA in Sexual Battery Settlement

FKA twigs is suing ex Shia LaBeouf again.

The 38-year-old Eusexua singer has filed a new lawsuit against him regarding their settlement from her previous sexual battery suit.

Back in 2020, she sued Shia for sexual battery, claiming he exposed her to an STD during their relationship, which occurred from 2018 to 2019. She also claimed that Shia slammed her against a car during one incident and attempted to strangle her. She filed to end her lawsuit against her ex in 2025.

Now, in new documents obtained by TMZ, twigs claims that Shia tried to silence her with NDA provisions in the settlement.

She’s claiming that the DNA terms are unlawful, citing California’s Stand Together Against Non-Disclosure Act. Passed in California in 2018, it prohibits confidentiality clauses in settlement agreements regarding sexual harassment, assault, or sex-based discrimination.

FKA twigs also claims that Shia filed a secret arbitration complaint against her in December, saying comments she made in a The Hollywood Reporter cover story violated the NDA terms of the settlement, and that he wants an “exorbitant” amount of money for the alleged violation.

In the article, when asked if she felt safe with the lawsuit behind her, she responded: “No, I wouldn’t say I feel safe. I feel really passionate about being involved with organizations such as Sistah Space and No More, to help survivors in any way that I can. I think it’s less about me at this point and more about looking forward. Just, you know, moving on with my life.”

She says in the legal documents, per TMZ, that this filing is “to right a wrong, and also on behalf of other women who are the victims of sexual and domestic violence who do not have the resources to speak out and defend themselves from predators” and that she “seeks to to ensure that survivors of sexual misconduct are not bullied or silenced like she was.”

She adds what Shia is doing is a “campaign of intimidation and abuse of the legal system” that “denigrates” her and every survivor of sexual abuse in California.

Shia has been involved in a lot of legal trouble lately, and was just spotted yelling at a woman on the street in Rome.
