How an Alleged Dating App Scam Targeting 'Wealthy Men' Led to an OnlyFans Model's Arrest

An OnlyFans model who has appeared in Playboy and Penthouse magazines is now facing felony six charges, accused of stealing from people she met using dating apps.

Adva Lavie, who is also known as Mia Ventura, has been charged with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information; two counts of grand theft; one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present and one count of first-degree residential burglary.

Per Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman, she previously pled not guilty to all charges.

Lavie Accused of Using Dating Apps to Find Targets

Prosecutors claim Lavie “used dating apps and cultivated relationships to burglarize and steal from wealthy older men and younger women in Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills” from 2023 to 2025.

“She is accused of posing as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to victims’ homes and then stealing cash, gold and high-end designer items,” prosecutors allege.

“This ruling means the evidence in this case will now be presented before a jury,” DA Hochman said in a press release.

“At her trial, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and steal from them,” added Hochman. “Her ability to deceptively influence others, whether in person or online, has now come to an end. Our office is committed to holding accountable anyone who uses deception and manipulation to prey on others.”

Additional Details on the Case

L.A. County Sheriff’s Department first identified Lavie as a suspect in a strong of burglaries back in October 2025. At the time, they were hoping to find additional victims.

In 2025, authorities said she targeted at least 10 men.

A number of her alleged victims have also spoken with the press, the Access Vegas podcast host Michael Sartain accusing her of going into the show's greenroom and stealing credit cards and cash from the purses of other panelists.

One of the panelists, Eden Lynn, told KTLA Lavie even tried using Lynn's American Express card at a Beverly Hills salon, under an appointment booked using her Mia Ventura alias.

An adult film star also claimed he and Lavie were part of a group hired to go to France for a work event. There, claimed Codey Steele, they were put up at an Airbnb, where Lavie allegedly stole items from him and others.

“She decided to pretty much rob basically every person in that group, essentially anything marked with a designer label,” Steele told KTLA.

Next Steps In Lavie's Case

According to prosecutors, Lavie faces up to 11 years, 8 months in prison if convicted on all counts.

Her arraignment is scheduled for April 6; until then, she's been released with an ankle monitor and ordered to stay away from her alleged victims.

Though authorities named her publicly back in October, Lavie hasn't exactly been keeping a low profile. In January 2025, she hit the red carpet for a Teatro Live event at the Avalon in Hollywood, posing for photos at the event.
