Business Insider wins two SABEW awards

The Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW) announced the winners of the 31st annual Best in Business awards and Business Insider won in the categories of International Reporting and Video.
Robert Leslie, Reem Makhoul, Yasser Abu Wazna, Marco Secci, and Erica Berenstein were recognized for their video coverage on Gaza's Economic Collapse in the International Reporting category where judges noted the work produced was "a gut-wrenching video that laid bare the cost of the war and the challenges and threats facing Gazans, using both traditional sourcing methods and digital tools."
Robert Leslie, Hannah Beckler, Dakin Campbell, Marco Secci, Erica Berenstein, Reem Makhoul, and Tyler Merkel won for their reporting on Inside the Data Center Explosion in the Video category where judges commended the team "for revealing the troubling realities behind the explosion in data centers of the AI revolution."
Business Insider also received an honorable mention in the category of Data Journalism for the series The True Cost of Data Centers, a team effort anchored by Hannah Beckler and Dakin Campbell, which judges shared was "a remarkable feat of data gathering, analysis, and presentation."
The SABEW awards honor excellence in business journalism, and the awards continue to highlight the importance and incredible coverage coming from Business Insider's View from Above series.
