Stop Mail-Order Abortions in South Carolina
On February 4, the South Carolina House passed H. 4760 to stop the mail-order distribution of abortion-inducing drugs in our state. Since then, the bill has stalled in the Senate Medical Affairs Committee without a hearing.
Senator Danny Verdin is the Chairman of the Senate Medical Affairs Committee and he sets the hearings. Unless the Senate acts soon, South Carolina’s life-protecting laws will continue to be bypassed by out-of-state and international distributors shipping dangerous abortion drugs directly into our communities.
Laws designed to protect both pregnant women and unborn children are being ignored—and in some cases, outright violated. Women and unborn children are at risk.
Take Action Now:
Contact Senator Danny Verdin (R–Laurens) and urge him to schedule an immediate hearing on H. 4760.
Tell him:
“Stop the flow of mail-order abortion drugs into South Carolina. Act on H. 4760 now.”
Call Senator Verdin’s office: (803) 212-6250
