Meryl added of Anne, “and she made a beeline to the producers about it, securing promises that the models in the show that we were putting together for our film would not be so skeletal! She’s a stand-up girl.”
If you don’t know, we actually have photos of Meryl as her iconic character Miranda Priestly for the Dolce & Gabbana Fashion Show in Milan, Italy last year. She was joined by co-stars Stanley Tucci and Simone Ashley.
The sequel will see Miranda Priestly (Streep) still the head of Runway, contending with the headwinds of publishing, with the magazine now in a diminished state.
