JoJo to Replace Lea Michele in Broadway Smash-Hit 'Chess'
Lea Michele‘s replacement in Chess on Broadway has been revealed to be “Too Little Too Late” and “Leave (Get Out)” singer Joanna “JoJo” Levesque!
If you don’t know, Lea recently announced that she’d be exiting the show after portraying Florence Vassy in the Broadway revival. Her final show will be on June 21.
JoJo will be taking over the role on Tuesday, June 23! She’ll star alongside original stars Aaron Tveit and Nicholas Christopher.

This is not actually JoJo‘s Broadway debut. She previously starred on Broadway in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
She’s had a prolific recording career as well, selling over 8 million albums worldwide. She also won a 2020 Grammy for “Say So” with PJ Morton.
