Paul Walter Hauser Joins Cast of Netflix's 'Scooby-Doo' Series
Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo series.
The series, which doesn’t yet have an official title, also features Maxwell Jenkins, Tanner Hagen, Abby Ryder, and Mckenna Grace.
According to Variety, there are no details yet about Paul‘s role, but many people are theorizing that he might be joining as the voice of Scooby-Doo himself.

Here’s the official series logline: “During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy (Hagen) and Daphne (Grace) get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma (Fortson), and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy (Jenkins), they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.”
Paul has experience voice acting, including in Inside Out 2, Orion and the Dark, and The Chosen Adventures.
Outside of that, he’s best known for his acclaimed roles in I, Tonya, and BlacKkKlansman, along with his breakout performance in the 2019 film Richard Jewell.
He also won an Emmy for his performance as Larry Hall in the Apple TV series Black Bird.
