Alan Ritchson Not Facing Charges in Neighbor Fight, Police Determine He Acted in Self-Defense
Alan Ritchson is not facing any charges over the altercation he had with a neighbor.
The 43-year-old Reacher actor got into a physical fight with a neighbor named Ronnie Taylor, who spoke to TMZ and claimed that the actor was disturbing the peace in their Nashville suburb.
Taylor claims Ritchson was riding on a Kawasaki bike this weekend, “revving his engine and disturbing the peace.” Taylor says he gave the middle finger and apparently Ritchson reciprocated. After a fight broke out, the neighbor accused the neighbor of hitting him “at least 4 times.”
Well, after an investigation, it was determined that Alan was not the one who instigated the fight.

“After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued. Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense,” Brentwood Police Captain Steven Pepin told The Hollywood Reporter.
Despite the neighbor admitting to instigating the fight, Alan will not press charges.
“Although a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges. With the agreement of the District Attorney’s Office, the case is now closed, and no further action will be taken,” the statement added.
Alan was wearing a bodycam during the altercation and his video has leaked online showing what happened. Watch here.
Alan responded to the viral video with a cryptic post on Monday night.
