Tottenham could welcome five injured players back over the international break

The March international break could not have come at a better time for Tottenham, who could welcome back key players before their next Premier League game.

There is no denying that Tottenham Hotspur have had to deal with a truckload of injuries during the course of the 25/26 season.

In fact, at one point in this campaign, as many as 13 players were out and unavailable for selection due to injury, illness or suspension.

However, those numbers have reduced in recent weeks. Heading into the clash against Nottingham Forest, Spurs had just seven players out through injury, and now Tottenham could be set to welcome more players back before taking to the pitch again in the league.

Five injured Tottenham players could return over next three weeks

According to Premier League Injuries, Tottenham could be bolstered further during the international break with the return of five players.

Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies and Yves Bissouma, who have spent extended spells on the sidelines, could make a long-awaited return to training in the coming weeks before Spurs take to the pitch on April 12 in their league game against Sunderland.

Tudor revealed that Kudus was expected to return in ten days before the clash against Forest, while Ben Davies has a return pencilled in for 11/4/26.

Yves Bissouma’s return does not have a fixed date, given the limited information about his injury, but the hope is that it will not be too long.

Mathys Tel also picked up a knock in the game against Forest and was forced off. He will be assessed and, if the injury is not too serious, he could be available for selection.

Rodrigo Bentancur is the final player Spurs could welcome back before the Sunderland clash, as he is expected to recover from his thigh problem sometime next month.

Spurs face international break concern despite injury boost

While this is positive news for Tottenham, it is far from certain that no other injuries will be picked up during the international break.

As it stands, 28 players have jetted off to represent their various nations, where they will be involved in both friendly and World Cup qualifying games.

Spurs, however, will be hoping that no injuries are picked up by any of their players, as they look to have everyone fit for the Premier League run-in and their battle to avoid relegation.
