Sukru, man behind murder of fellow Maoist to stop his surrender, lays down arms
Top Maoist leader Kosa Sodhi, alias Sukru, carrying a Rs 55 lakh bounty, surrendered with four associates in Kandhamal. This significant achievement brings Odisha close to being declared Maoist-free, with only a handful of lower-rung operatives remaining. Sukru was allegedly involved in the murder of a fellow leader to prevent his surrender.
