Ante Šuto & Martin Boyle – Australia
Croatian-born forward Ante Šuto has earned his first Australia call-up after scoring three goals and providing one assist in seven matches for Hibs since joining the Club on deadline day.
Eligible to represent the Socceroos through his Melbourne-born father, Šuto now prepares for a potential international debut during the break.
Hibs Vice-Captain Martin Boyle also earns another call-up, as he pursues his 40th cap for Australia just days after reaching a landmark 400 appearances for Hibernian.
The Socceroos will take on both Cameroon and Curaçao – in Sydney on Friday 27 March and Melbourne on Tuesday 31 March, respectively – in what will be Australia’s final home matches before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Grant Hanley – Scotland
After helping to guide Scotland to World Cup qualification last year, Grant Hanley is named in Steve Clarke’s first squad of 2026 as the Tartan Army build towards this summer’s spectacle in North America.
The centre-back is currently on 66 caps, and will look to add to that impressive tally as Scotland take in a pair of international friendly matches later this month.
Scotland will first host Japan at Barclays Hampden on Saturday 28 March before meeting Cote D’Ivoire in Liverpool at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday 31 March.
Miguel Chaiwa – Zambia
Miguel Chaiwa will line up for Chipolopolo against current World Champions, Argentina, this month.
The friendly match was a late alteration to both nations’ fixture plans, with the cancellation of the Finalissima forcing the former to reorganise their World Cup preparations whilst Zambia now send a secondary squad to participate in the Botswana-based Four Nations Tournament.
The match will be held in La Bombonera Stadium, Buenos Aires, on Tuesday 31 March.
Rocky Bushiri – DR Congo
Rocky Bushiri and DR Congo are on the cusp of World Cup qualification, with just one inter-confederation play-off win enough to secure their place in this summer’s finals.
First, as a warm-up for their crucial play-off clash, the Leopards will take on Bermuda in an international friendly match in Guadalajara, Mexico on Wednesday 25 March.
The all-important contest follows on Tuesday 31 March, as DR Congo will face the winner of Jamaica or New Caledonia at Estadio Akron, Guadalajara.
Logan Jimenez – Bermuda
Potentially lining up against Rocky is Under-19s winger Logan Jimenez, who will aim to add to his two international caps this month following his first appearances for Bermuda in November 2025.
The versatile attacker has been named in the Gombey Warriors’ squad for their upcoming friendly fixture against DR Congo in Mexico on Wednesday 25 March at Estadio Akron.
Munashe Garananga – Zimbabwe
Centre-back Munashe Garananga has been selected in the Zimbabwe squad that will compete in the 2026 Four Nations International Tournament.
The competition, held in Francistown, Botswana, will feature four African countries – with hosts Botswana, Malawi and Zambia all taking part alongside Zimbabwe.
The Warriors will play two tournament matches overall, with the games scheduled for Saturday 28 March and Tuesday 31 March.
Kai Andrews – Wales U21s

Lewis Gillie & Luke Davidson – Scotland U19s
Two Hibernian youngsters have been selected in Neil McFarlane’s Scotland U19s squad for an upcoming 2027 UEFA U19 European Championship Round One qualifying triple-header.
Defender Lewis Gillie and forward Luke Davidson, who may earn his first cap for Scotland across any level, have both been named in the 20-strong squad following impressive performances for our own U19s.
The Young Team will first face Italy at 2pm on Wednesday 25 March at the Albert Bartlett Stadium in Airdrie, before taking on the Republic of Ireland on Saturday 28 March at the Kirkintilloch Community Sports Stadium; 3:30pm kick-off.
