Apostle Kawinga’s Salvation For All Ministries Assists Flood Victims in Mchinji
Over 650 flood-affected households in Mchinji District have received relief support through the Hope Field Initiative, a program by Salvation For All Ministries International aimed at strengthening community resilience and food security.
The assistance exercise, held at Kaigwazanga Primary School Ground in T/A Kawere, GVH Kaigwazanga, was led by Clifford Kawinga.
Beneficiaries were provided with essential items including groceries, 5kg bags of maize flour, blankets, and plastic sheets to support temporary shelter.
Speaking during the distribution, ministry representatives said the initiative is designed to help vulnerable communities recover from disasters while promoting sustainable livelihoods.
The intervention complements broader national efforts previously advanced under the leadership of Arthur Peter Mutharika to support communities affected by natural disasters.
The Hope Field Initiative is one of several outreach programs being implemented by the ministry to respond to the needs of affected populations and restore stability at the household level.
