Cyprus taekwondo federation will travel to the US
The Cyprus taekwondo federation will travel to the United States next month for an educational training programme, the federation said on Tuesday.
The trip will run from April 4 to 19, with stops in New York and Florida, where the team will attend seminars and train with international athletes and instructors.
The federation announced that the delegation will share insights with international practitioners to enhance its global presence.
A key moment will be the meeting with taekwondo Grand Master Jae Hwa Kwon.
Team coach Petros Agamemnonos stated that the trip will provide participants with valuable experience and insight into the discipline’s philosophy.
“This trip is a great opportunity for our team to develop, gain international experience and connect with the authentic philosophy of traditional taekwondo,” he said. “Meeting Grand Master Jae Hwa Kwon is a unique opportunity for the students and a dream come true.”
