When it comes to outdoor watches that can handle real-world adventure, few names carry more weight than Casio’s ProTrek line. Now, the brand is stepping up its style game with a new collaboration that blends serious backcountry tech with modern streetwear design.
The White Mountaineering x Casio ProTrek PRW-B1000WM takes everything outdoorsmen love—like built-in sensors, solar power, and rugged durability—and wraps it in a sleek, all-black aesthetic that works just as well in the city as it does on the trail. It’s a rare mix of performance and style, built for guys who want one watch that can truly do both.
The piece is based on Casio’s PRW-B1000 and features a compass, altimeter with barometric pressure, and temperature gauge—crucial data for mountain climbing and trekking. It also offers solar charging, radio control, and a Bluetooth connection to an app that can track and log your activities. A world timer, chronograph, perpetual calendar, timer, alarm, and Super Illuminator LED add to the ProTrek efficacy.

The 50.8×45.8mm case uses White Mountaineering’s signature color, matte black. For visual depth the design team added triangle patterns deployed on the steel bezel, white hands, and index accents. Much of the case is composed of a flame-retardant grade bio based resin. So outdoors enthusiasts don’t need to worry about damaging the watch campfires and cooking flames.
The two register, analog-digital hybrid dial is capped with an anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal for protection and clear visibility. Both the ProTrek and White Mountaineering logos are engraved on the case back.

While most pieces in Casio’s ProTrek line come on rubber straps for maximum utility, the White Mountaineering model features a solid, light weight titanium bracelet to maximize durability and comfort. The sharp-edged H-link bracelet is finished with matte black ion plating to match the case. The watch is secured with double-lock, three-fold design clasp to keep it securely fixed to the wrist during even the most.
The White Mountaineering x Casio ProTrek PRW-B1000WM is available now at casio.com for $990.
