Former French PM Lionel Jospin, figure of the 'plural' left, dies
Former French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin passed away at the age of 88. Jospin was head of government under the centre-right President Jacques Chirac from 1997 to 2002 during cohabitation and embodied what he called the 'plural left'.
