Non-Candy Easter Basket Stuffers for Teens Who’d Rather Snack

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

A lot of Easter basket gifts still assumes every kid wants a full sugar spiral. That is not always the case, especially with teens. Some want something in the complete opposite direction, like bunny-themed makeup or cute Easter-themed Squishmallows, but others simply want one thing: snacks, and lots of them, whether that means chips, crackers, cookies in small doses, or something they will actually eat later instead of abandoning it in a pile of plastic grass.

Luckily, if you are shopping for someone who would rather tear into something salty, crunchy, or just less aggressively sweet, there are actually some pretty cute stuffer options out right now that still feel Easter-specific.

One of the easiest ones to justify is Gatorade Lower Sugar in Rain Berry. The bright pink bottle gives off a Spring vibe, but the bigger selling point is that this is something a teen might actually use after Easter. It has 75% less sugar than Gatorade Thirst Quencher, and between the 6-pack of 20-ounce bottles and 12-pack of 12-ounce bottles, the 6-pack of 20-ounce bottles is the slightly better deal by volume.

If you want something festive that still leans snack over candy, Annie’s Organic Variety Pack is probably the cleanest fit. It has Cheddar Bunnies, Bunny Grahams, and Cheddar Squares, so you are getting the Easter shape factor along with a mix of savory and slightly sweet options. It is also one of those picks that feels easy for parents because the pouches are already portioned, easy to split up, and not loaded with the full sugar-bomb energy of the usual Easter aisle.

The limited-edition Oreo Pink and Yellow Creme snack packs make sense too, especially if you want to include one sweeter thing without turning the whole basket into dessert. The pastel filling does the Easter work for you, and the individual packs help keep it in the treat category instead of the “accidentally gave my kid 40 ounces of sugar before lunch” category.

If you want to go more savory, the Springtime Cheez-It variety pack is another strong one. This one makes the most sense if you are filling more than one basket or just shopping for a teen who would take crackers over candy without hesitation. The Easter packaging is cute, but the bigger selling point is that Cheez-Its are still Cheez-Its, and whom among us hasn’t eaten an entire box in one sitting?

The Easter Pringles canister is funny in that specific seasonal-snack way that usually plays well with teens. It is still just Original Pringles, which is part of the appeal, but the Easter packaging makes it feel a little more intentional than tossing in a random gas-station chip can at the last minute. The only caveat there is price, since that one seems to be fluctuating a lot depending on availability.

And if the basket needs one smaller wildcard item, the Stitch shortbread cookies are cute without feeling too babyish. They are sweet, obviously, but they read more like a small snack than a candy add-in, and at $1, they are easy to toss in if your Easter basket needs one more thing.

That is really the point of a basket like this: it can still feel Easter-y without turning into a massive sugar overload, and there is a good chance a teen will actually eat more of it later. A pink Gatorade, bunny crackers, a small Oreo pack, maybe some Cheez-Its or Pringles — that is still festive. It just does not send the whole day straight into a sugar crash by noon.
