Anna Kournikova & Enrique Iglesias Reveal Their Newborn Son’s Unexpectedly Romantic Name
We officially know Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova’s fourth child’s name!
In case you missed it, earlier this week, Kournikova shared a sweet photo of herself and Iglesias’ four children on her Instagram. She shared the photo with the caption reading, “Lucy+Nicolas+Mary+Romeo ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Not only do we adore this photo of all four of their kids, but now we know that the pair has named their newborn son Romeo!
The Italian name means “Pilgrim to Rome; Roman,” but it is most commonly associated with William Shakespeare’s ill-fated romantic play Romeo and Juliet.
It’s steadily risen in the ranks as a popular baby name, with many celebrities also naming their sons Romeo, like Victoria and David Beckham, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Lauren Sorrentino, and Jon Bon Jovi, to name a few!

For those who don’t know, Iglesias and Anna first met back in Dec 2001 on the set of Iglesias’s music video for the song “Escape.” They’ve been together ever since (and many think they secretly got married since Anna’s name on Instagram is “Anna Kournikova Iglesias”).
They have since welcomed four children together: twins Nicholas and Lucy, born in Dec 2017, and another daughter named Mary “Masha,” born in Jan 2020. They welcomed their fourth child on Dec 22, 2025, and they posted the news on Instagram with the caption reading, “My Sunshine 12.17.2025.”
And now we know his name is Romeo!
