Is Rebecca Gayheart Dating Someone New After Eric Dane’s Passing? Inside Her Relationship Status
While Rebecca Gayheart and the late Eric Dane didn’t go through with their divorce, they did date other people, with Gayheart being linked to Hard Rock co-founder Peter Morton since 2023. However, it turns out they broke up over a year ago!
Insiders told Page Six that Gayheart and Morton actually broke up nearly a year ago, in April 2025. Despite being seen kissing in Dec 2025 while leaving E-Baldi in Beverly Hills, Calif, it was just a run-in, catching up on their lives!
So it seems Gayheart has been single for longer than we thought.

Before, Gayheart was married to Dane from 2004 until his death at 53 years olf from ALS. During their marriage, they welcomed two daughters together, Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 14.
In 2018, they separated. “After 14 years together, we have decided that ending our marriage is the best decision for our family,” Dane said in a statement to People at the time. “We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful girls, as they are the most important thing in the world to us. We kindly ask that you respect our privacy during this time as we navigate the next phase of our lives.”
However, Gayheart requested to dismiss the divorce in March 2025 to help take care of him.
