IanTSnoopIanTAnd, I think it's only fair to point out that the teams that will be relegated are packed full of Championship experience too, not just the top 6.
As indeed we were when we went down.
The 'experience' thing is a red herring imo. Good teams go up, bad teams go down.
I can recall Wenger saying it took around a season for players from abroad to adjust to English football and show their best, I think that is what a lot of this is. Not so much strictly championship experience but getting adjusted to the physicality of the league, number of games, what refs allow and disallow etc. Plus language/ culture type stuff.
Yeah, I think that's fair. Give this squad longer.
What I DON'T want to happen this summer is for us to try to change things too much. I think that'd be disastrous.
I agree, stability is the right way to go. Build on what we have - it isn't as if we are a million miles adrift this season, so no need for major surgery. Just pick up a few good quality players where we need them most and we should be in a very good position.
