Re: Why are so many people losing their minds?
El MayorI know you and 8 personally and usually agree with you but not entirely on this.number8We've got people recommending 352 (we've never played it), 343 (ditto), starting a bloke up front who has consistently missed a cows arse with a banjo, ditching wingers when we've bought in 4 this season, sacking the coach with no idea who we'd get next, bemoaning decisions made years ago that we can't change now, playing players in positions they have never played in their career...and all because we are only top 10 in a division we were promoted to last season and have been utter dogshit in during the previous decade.
I'm honestly wishing this season away now so the club can take whatever steps it needs to do in the summer and we can start with a bit of hope again.
I can understand it's overall not where we wanted (or so many expected us) to be but you'd think we were bottom 3 with the state of this board. And yes, there are obviously some issues we will need to address.
But look where we were even 3 years ago. It's been a massive transformation. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Bob on.
It's entitlement, pure and simple.
Rome wasn’t built in a day but our performance s away from home for nearly 2 years have been far from convincing , substandard sometimes. I let Davies off a bit because we needed height, pace, running power. We got that in January and are still flattering to deceive too often. We don’t play well often enough. Especially away from home. See the trend.
It’s far more nuanced than you both are making out imo. Especially if you go away regularly
