'Bachelorette' Season 22 Canceled, Taylor Frankie Paul's Season Won't Air: Read the Statement
The new season of The Bachelorette starring Taylor Frankie Paul has been canceled. It was due to premiere this Sunday (March 22).
If you have not been following, there is an open domestic assault investigation involving Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, with allegations made on both sides.
ABC has confirmed the Bachelorette news to Just Jared, releasing the following statement: “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”

The 31-year-old influencer and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reality TV star was seen in footage obtained by TMZ during a fight with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
In the video, Taylor and Dakota are arguing while he records the situation on his phone. At one point, she is seen throwing a chair in his direction during the altercation.
“This is called physical abuse,” he says in the video.
He also yells “your daughter is sitting right there,” referring to daughter Indy, but Taylor throws more chairs at him as the child begins crying on the couch.
“Your daughter just got hit in the head by a metal chair,” he exclaims at one point.
Dakota recently broke his silence on the investigation.
