Madonna Films Scenes in Costume for 'The Studio' Season 2 With Julia Garner & Michael Keaton
Madonna is stepping into character!
The “Into the Groove” Queen of Pop was spotted filming scenes alongside Julia Garner and Michael Keaton on the set of The Studio Season 2 on Thursday (March 19) in Venice, Italy.
After being photographed arriving to set earlier this week, these new photos appear to show Madonna in costume for the first time.

She was seen wearing a silky blush pink ensemble paired with a dramatic dark fur stole, while Julia wore a plunging green dress, both seemingly dressed for a scene set at an upscale event.
The fact that Madonna is filming alongside Julia is especially intriguing, as Julia was cast to play Madonna in a planned biopic project.
If you didn’t know, Madonna has been in Venice for the past few days filming scenes for the hit Apple+ show, created by Seth Rogen.
This will mark Madonna‘s first real TV role in over 20 years since an appearance on Will & Grace in 2003, as well as a few cameos on Saturday Night Live since.
As we reported earlier in the week, Madonna was missing from The Party, her ultra-private Oscars after-party she co-hosts with longtime manager Guy Oseary. Pictures quickly surfaced of her arriving in Italy on Monday (March 16), and then hours later, she was seen on the set of the upcoming second season. A day later, she was seen stepping out again in the city and shared a photo of herself reading over a script with a “Madonna” watermark.
The Studio follows a legacy Hollywood movie studio striving to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and business to live together. It broke the record for most wins by a comedy in a single season at the Emmys this year.
Several other celebrities have been spotted filming scenes for the second season of the Emmy-winning series, including Bryan Cranston and Ike Barinholtz.
Madonna also has a major album set to drop this year!
