Taylor Momsen Has 'Gossip Girl' Reunion With Connor Paolo & Jessica Szohr In The Pretty Reckless Music Video - Watch Now!

Taylor Momsen‘s band The Pretty Reckless has released the new music video for the song “When I Wake Up”!

The band’s song hails from their upcoming new album Dear God, and Taylor enlisted a couple familiar faces for the visual – her former Gossip Girl co-stars Connor Paolo and Jessica Szohr.

Other people you may recognize in the visual are The Foo Fighters‘ Pat Smear and Ilan Rubin.

“l wanted the video to reflect where the song came from – a time in my life when I was out of control, not caring whether I lived or died. We shot it raw, with no grade, no filter,” Taylor, who co-directed the video with Chris Acosta, shared in a statement. “Reality doesn’t come color-corrected, and I didn’t want to change what we captured. The imperfection is the grade. This is where life can take you when you play too close to the edge, chasing substances, sex, and dopamine highs to escape depression. It led me down a rabbit hole of self-destruction that leaves you emptier than where you began…with all that being said..enjoy.“

“When I Wake Up” is the second single from The Pretty Reckless’ upcoming album Dear God, which is set to be released on June 26th. They are also going on the Dear God Tour, starting in North America in July, and going through the start of December, wrapping up in the UK.
