Murray Makes One Switch For Midweek Clash
Head Coach Joelle Murray makes one alteration to her Hibernian Women starting XI ahead of tonight’s visit of Rangers to Meadowbank Stadium.
We face a quick turnaround from Sunday’s 1-1 draw to Celtic at New Douglas Park as the Hibees seek to extend their unbeaten record at home to the Light Blues to four matches.
10 players remain from the weekend’s deadlock in Hamilton, with Noa Schumacher in goal behind a defensive line consisting of Lauren Doran-Barr, Linzi Taylor, Scarlett Herron and Stacey Papadopoulos.
Kirsten Reilly dons the captain’s armband in midfield alongside Ciara Grant, as Kathleen McGovern is joined in the forward line by Sunday’s assist provider, Rosie Livingstone, and scorer, Eilidh Adams.
The only change sees Tiree Burchill return to the starting line-up in place of Tegan Bowie, who drops to the bench. It is Burchill’s first start since our Scottish Cup tie against Celtic on 11 January, in which she scored before sustaining an injury.
Alongside Bowie on the bench are fellow attackers Hannah Jordan and Kirsty Morrison.
Faye Bryson is named amongst the substitutes and could make her Hibernian debut if introduced.
Rowena Armitage, Caley Gibb, Siobhan Hunter, Jess Fitzgerald and Ellis Notley round out Murray’s options off the bench.
Club Captain Rachael Boyle misses out, while Jess Ramsay remains on international duty with Scotland U17s.
