ChaLew Performance Joins Stafford Contingency Program
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway will welcome a new member to its contingency program for the 2026 season in the form of ChaLew Performance. ChaLew Performance, based in Mooresville, NC and owned by former Stafford Speedway Late Model driver and Kids Club reporter Charles Lewandoski, will provide each SK Modified® third place feature finisher with a $100 bonus.
“Obviously Stafford is my hometown track and since I moved to Charlotte in 2005, Stafford will always be my home track,” said Charles Lewandoski, owner of ChaLew Performance. “We’re coming up on 10 years of ChaLew Performance and while our core business is the national levels of NASCAR, we’re putting a lot of effort into growing our short track program. That being said, there isn’t a better way for us to do that than by supporting my hometrack and all my friends that race at Stafford as well as being involved with the top short track in the country. This won’t just educate local racers about what ChaLew Performance has to offer, but with the FloRacing coverage of Stafford, which is second to none, we can get that message out to the entire country. Joining the Stafford contingency program is a perfect fit for us.”
While it won’t be a weekly fixture in the Stafford paddock area, the ChaLew Performance parts truck will be at the track during the NAPA Spring Sizzler® weekend to offer teams a look at the wide variety of brands and products that ChaLew Performance has to offer.
“We can’t be at Stafford every week, but we’re going to bring our ChaLew parts truck to the Spring Sizzler® to give everyone an idea of the different brands that we carry and how we can serve racers at Stafford.”

“We’re located right in the heart of circle track country in Mooresville,” said Lewandoski. “We have a retail store and we’re in the process of putting together an online store at www.chalew.com. We have a large warehouse of parts and we ship same-day UPS daily. If someone who races at Stafford orders something from us on a Monday, they’ll have it on Wednesday by two-day ground shipping and we can also ship next-day if needed. We can also ship freight and we have orders going out as far as Australia.”
The first ChaLew Performance contingency of the 2026 season will be paid out as part of the 54th Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler®, set for April 25-26. The NAPA Spring Sizzler® kicks off on Saturday, April 25, with feature events for the Late Model, Limited Late Model, Street Stock, and Granite State ProStock divisions, along with SK Light qualifying duel races that will set the field for an extra-distance 30-lap feature event on Sunday, April 26.
