The World Baseball Classic has come and gone.
Team Venezuela beat Team USA Tuesday night in a 3-2 thriller to win the championship. Bryce Harper hit a dramatic two-run homer to tie it in the eighth, but Eugenio Suárez hit a go-ahead RBI double in the ninth to win it for Venezuela. Read our recap here.
Focus now shifts back to the Mets, who play a game that counts eight days from now.
