Reimagining Gulf Security
The Iran war has exposed the limits of the “protection for sale” system that has defined Gulf geopolitics for decades. Instead of continuing to rely on US military guarantees, which will always remain conditional and incomplete, Gulf countries should pursue a shift toward security rooted in regional economic integration.
