Jesse Williams Joins 'The Morning Show' Season 5 as Filming Begins, Role Revealed
Jesse Williams is heading to the morning news – kind of!
The 44-year-old former Grey’s Anatomy star has been added to the cast of the upcoming fifth season of The Morning Show on Apple TV, Deadline announces.

It appears Jesse will have a recurring role in the new season, where he will play a character named Vernon, “UBN’s newest Head of News, who is known as a brash pot-stirrer with a talent for grabbing and keeping an audience.”
Jesse is the second new casting addition announced this week, following news that Jeff Daniels is also joining the show.
They will appear alongside several returning cast members, including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Mark Duplass and Jon Hamm.
On Monday (March 16), Reese shared a new video on Instagram, marking the start of filming on the new season.
“Missed this amazing crew so much! Season 5 here we come… and yes, I will be hugging everyone on set,” she captioned the post, which sees her walking through set, greeting the behind-the-scenes crew. Check it out above.
