Syracuse’ search for a new head coach continues.
South Florida head coach Bryan Hodgson has turned down an offer from Syracuse, a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.
TheFieldof68’s Jeff Goodman was first on the story.
Adam Zagoria reported Tuesday that both Providence and Syracuse were targeting Hodgson to fill in their head coach vacancies.
Hodgson led the Bulls to a 23-8 record and the American Athletic Conference regular-season crown.
Syracuse has also been linked to former Orange star and current Siena head coach Gerry McNamara, whose team won the MAAC Tournament to qualify for the Big Dance.
