Latest planning applications submitted to Gravesham council include consultation on Traveller site
A Traveller site could be expanded under new, retrospective proposals.
Gravesham council is being consulted on plans to extend and reconfigure an existing lawful pitch at Nurstead Stables in Nurstead Avenue, Longfield.
The applicants want to bring an additional static caravan onto the site, bringing the total to four, along with a touring caravan, shed, and hardstanding and revising the size and design of the dayroom.
Changes have also been proposed for the redevelopment of Cascades Leisure Centre in Thong Lane, Gravesend.
Applications have been submitted to vary several planning conditions linked to the approved scheme, including noise assessments, the soft landscaping scheme, energy efficiency measures and play equipment.
Alterations have also been proposed at The Lion pub in Luddesdown Road, Luddesdown, including new gates and fencing to the garden and new planters and steps.
Plans for new windows, doors and awnings, the creation of a patio or terrace and reconfigured ramp access have been submitted for its wine shop, the Cellar Door.
Meanwhile, plans have been lodged for the demolition of a barn and adjoining building on land north of Dawes Cottage, in Northfleet, to make way for a four-bedroom house.

- Works on oak and ash trees at The Galleons, in Sallows Shaw, Cobham
- Works to the prunus tree at Basque Cottage, in Wrotham Road, Meopham
- Consultation on a temporary commercial electric vehicle charging hub at land east of New Barn Road, Southfleet
- Conversion of roof space with dormer and roof lights at 49 Cambria Crescent, Gravesend
- Approval of drainage condition at land at St Alban’s Close, Gravesend
- Demolition of the former technical lab and offices at Kimberly Clark Ltd, in Crete Hall Road, Northfleet
- Single-storey rear and side extension at Sunny Side, in Round Street, Cobham
- Widening of existing dropped kerb at 7 Pine Rise, Meopham
- Installation of dropped kerb and driveway at 189 Wrotham Road, Gravesend
