Why We Love This Deal

T-shirts are so incredibly common, and yet, guys are so particular about them. Some have an issue with the length, while for others, it's the height of the armpits or the boxiness. There's one basic men's T-shirt at Gap Factory that guys go back to over and over again, though. It's made entirely of cotton, which makes it very soft, and it's half off right now.

The $20 Gap Everyday Soft Crewneck T-Shirt is down to $10 through Gap Factory. Most of the solid colors are going for this price, while the patterned shirts are priced at $12 as part of Gap’s Friends and Family sale. They come in sizes XS through 2XL, and they've earned over 2,800 five-star ratings from guys (and wives) who absolutely love them.

What Shoppers Should Know

  • Material: 100% cotton jersey knit
  • Fit: Regular (straight)
  • Care: Machine was cold, tumble dry low
  • Best For: Everyday casual wear, layering, lounging, traveling

An everyday staple from an iconic brand, this tee is made entirely of soft jersey knit cotton and designed with a classic crewneck cut for a familiar look/feel you can rock solo or layered under a jacket. The straight fit hits right at the hips, and that cotton construction makes it a solid pick for layering in cold/breezy weather.

The 100% cotton construction is certainly a plus, but it’s not incredibly hard to find something similar in this price range, like Old Navy’s take on the crewneck tee. That means the differences come down to fabric feel and fit. Old Navy’s shirt is also 100% cotton, but Gap’s tee has a smoother Jersey fabric and a more polished fit, giving it a slightly elevated edge.

What Shoppers Are Saying

One shopper broke down what makes this shirt so great: “Great quality and super soft, 100% cotton and no logos.” A second commented on the durability, writing, “These last forever. I wear one almost every day to my job.” As for the weight, a third reviewer said that it's “not too heavy nor too light.”

Regarding fit, most shoppers found the shirts to be true to size, but a handful noted they’re a bit tight around the sleeves. If you prefer a roomier fit, it’s a good idea to go a size up, at least according to those reviewers.

Gap’s Everyday Soft Crewneck T-Shirt is a classic tee from a classic brand, and $10 for an entirely cotton shirt isn’t something you see all the time. That also means you should grab the size/color you want soon, because this deal may not be around for much longer.
