Here’s the synopsis shared by Hulu, “A hilarious, stylized, R-rated action-comedy about two gangsters and the woman they love trying to survive the most dangerous night of their lives. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s one wild ingredient added to the mix: a time machine.”
Writer and director BenDavid Grabinski introduced the film at the event by reading some things he’d written on his phone, per Variety.
“This following speech was saved in my Google Docs as the speech I’d give if Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice wins an MTV Movie Award. But I’m pretty sure those don’t exist anymore, which sucks s–t.”
He continued, “Movies are the best thing in the entire world. Movies are why I get up in the morning. Movies are why I exist. Movies bring me joy, and you are all about to watch a fucking movie. It’s a movie made by a major studio with movie stars and jokes and fights and surprises and explosions, a lot of music and a time machine.”
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice will be released on Disney+ and Hulu worldwide on March 27.
