Tripura presents Rs 34,212 crore budget, projects Rs 240.7 crore fiscal deficit
In a significant move, Tripura's Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy presented a budget of Rs 34,212.31 crore for the fiscal year 2026-27, marking a 5.52% increase from the previous year and forecasting a fiscal deficit of Rs 240.72 crore. The state is also poised to achieve a revenue surplus of Rs 1,615.60 crore.
