Kate Hudson Brings Son Ryder as Her Date to Vanity Fair Oscars 2026 Party

Kate Hudson has a very special date for one of the biggest parties of Oscars night!

The 46-year-old Song Sung Blue actress stepped out for the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night (March 15) following the Academy Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kate was joined by her 22-year-old son Ryder Robinson, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

The mother-son duo happily posed for photos together on the red carpet at the star-studded after-party.

For the event, Kate stunned in a sparkling black cutout gown by Gucci featuring a plunging neckline and dramatic ab-baring detail, paired with diamond jewelry. Ryder wore a classic black tux, a white button-down shirt and an ivory ribbon tie.

Earlier in the night, Kate attended the 2026 Oscars alongside her mom, Goldie Hawn.

Kate was nominated for Best Actress that evening for her work in Song Sung Blue, which ultimately went to Hamnet actress Jessie Buckley.

“I’m excited just to be doing this again. It’s really cool. And hopefully my mom will be my date and we can have fun. It’ll be great,” she said ahead of the show on Today.
