Pedro Pascal Debuts Polarizing New Look at the Oscars
Pedro Pascal has taken fans by surprise with his new clean-shaven look at the 2026 Academy Awards.
The actor walked the red carpet before this year's Oscars ceremony to loud calls from the press, who snapped pictures of his brand new look.
Though Pascal has never found himself nominated at the Oscars, the actor is a regular fix of the red carpet, presumably there to support his countless co-stars who are nominated this year.
Pascal's most recent projects include Fantastic Four: First Steps and Materialists, the latter of which was projected to be an Oscars player but ultimately fell short of expectations and underperformed at the box office.
Pascal has recently been busy filming his scenes for Avengers: Doomsday, the latest major release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The next sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, is reportedly going to film soon—though Pascal's new look suggests he's not assuming Reed Richards' identity right now.

Fans' reactions to Pascal's new look have been very mixed, with some social media users claiming that he looks much younger—and others thrown off by the clean-shaven change.
"He looks so young," writes one user.
"Didn't even recognize him", claims another.
"How is that man 50?!" one final user questioned.
