Dartford Women v Ebbsfleet: Match Report
Darts Women Victorious in Local Derby Against Ebbsfleet Utd Women After 4-0 Victory at Princes Park
London and South East Regional Women’s Premier League, played on Sunday 15th March 2026.
Darts Women were back at home on Sunday afternoon, as they welcomed Ebbsfleet Utd Women to Princes Park in league action.
The start of the game was very scrappy with both sides struggling to gain an advantage early on. The home side had to wait until midway through the first half for their first real chance on goal. In the 23rd minute, a fine through ball from Darts captain, Xayla-Rae Alberts put Mya Lewis-Powell through on goal. The Darts forward’s shot on goal was well saved by Ebbsfleet keeper, Grace O’Neil.
The home side continued to grow into the game and went ahead 12 minutes before the break. In the 33rd minute, Paris Smith did superbly well to charge down a clearance from the Ebbsfleet keeper. The ball rebounded into the path of Mya Lewis-Powell, who fired home from close range to put the hosts ahead at the break.
The Darts began the second half with real intent and doubled the advantage just after the hour mark. In the 61st minute, Georgie Davis tried her luck from distance with a free kick midway inside the Ebbsfleet half. The shot from the Darts defender hit the underside of the crossbar and dropped into the goal to put the Darts firmly in control.
The home side wrapped up all three points with 20 minutes to go as in the 70th minute, a bouncing ball fell nicely into the path of Lottie Cunningham. The Darts forward cut in from the right and fired an effort towards goal. The shot took a deflection off the defender that took the shot beyond the keeper.
The hosts continued to create chances as the half went on and made it four twelve minutes from the end. In the 78th minute, the ball fell to Molly Smith in the box and a first time shot from the Darts forward nestled in the bottom corner.
