Two people suffer the effects of smoke inhalation after fire breaks out at home in Victoria Hill Road in Swanley
Two people suffered the effects of smoke inhalation after a fire started in a lithium-ion battery, which had been left on charge.
Crews were called to a house in Victoria Hill Road, Swanley, just after 3pm yesterday (March 14), and firefighters used breathing apparatus to enter the home to fight the flames.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two people were handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics, suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.”
The cause (of the fire) is believed to be from a lithium-ion battery on charge and crews left the area shortly before 4pm.
