Will Natalie Portman & Her Private BF Make Their Red Carpet Debut at the 2026 Oscars?
While Natalie Portman has gone to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in recent years, the last time she was actually at the Oscars was in 2020; when she arrived solo. However, she’s set to return, and many wonder if she’ll finally make her red carpet debut with her boyfriend, Tanguy Destable.
In photos obtained by DeuxMoi, we can see a few people who are set to attend. They shared the photos with the caption reading, “Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the 98th Oscars® will air live on ABC & stream live on Hulu at 7pm ET/4pm PT @theacademy.” And in those pics, we see on slide 14 that Portman will be attending to cheer on the film she produced for Best Animated Feature: Arco.
So not only is she set to attend for the first time in six years, but she and her ex Benjamin Millepied divorced since then and many wonder if she’ll go with Destable.

For those who don’t know, Portman and Millepied started their romance in 2009 after meeting on the set of the film Black Swan. They married in 2012, and later welcomed two children together, named Aleph and Amalia.
In 2023, they split up after the alleged affair came to light. Back in June 2023, French magazine Voici published photos of Millepied and Camille Étienne entering his Paris office separately and leaving it two hours later, only 10 minutes apart, fueling further speculation of an affair.
In early 2025, Portman started dating Destable. The French outlet Voici was the first to report news of their new relationship with Destable, posting photos of them looking rather cozy together on a night out in France. People later confirmed the news that same week.
