UGG Just Dropped a Croc-Embossed Version of Its Super Comfortable Sandal — Plus More Spring Styles to Shop

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, SheKnows may receive an affiliate commission.

Finding spring sandals that check every box is weirdly hard. The cute ones can feel stiff, flat, or slippery. The practical ones can look like you gave up halfway through getting dressed. And if you’re specifically hunting for comfortable sandals, whether they are strappy iterations or platforms (or a fun combination of both!) that won’t have you limping home by the end of the day, the options get thin fast.

That’s what makes UGG’s latest collection so great: it takes the shoes shoppers already trust for comfort and gives them more texture, more color options, and a little more personality — just like they did with their Valentine’s Day collection earlier this year. The Spring 2026 release, the Golden Collection, features the croc-embossed GoldenGlow Embossed Sandal, the croc print GoldenGaze Embossed Ankle Wrap Sandal, the streetstyle Goldenstar Wildwood Sandal, the espadrille-inspired embroidered Goldenstar Hi Artistitch Sandal and the smooth suede Goldenstar Gleam Sandal.

The GoldenGlow Embossed is a very strong place to start. It has the same lightweight platform setup as the original GoldenGlow, but the croc-embossed finish makes it feel a little cooler than the average sporty sandal. It comes in Dense Smoke and Mustard Seed, and both shades feel easy to wear without sliding into boring. The comfort angle is already doing plenty of the work here, too. On UGG’s site, one shopper called the original GoldenGlow a “Super comfortable shoe!” and said it felt like the “perfect replacement” for blister-inducing sandals because the UGGs felt “cushioned and comfortable” right away.

Then there’s the Goldenstar Gleam, which gives this drop one of its boldest color stories. The multi-strap upper comes in suede, with Chestnut and Dense Smoke for anyone who wants a more everyday neutral, plus a Red Pepper version that brings a lot more punch. That brighter shade has way more personality than the neutral comfort sandals that tend to take over every spring, but the shape still feels easy enough to wear on repeat. The reviews on existing Goldenstar styles help make the case, too. One shopper wrote, “Comfy and stylish!” Another reviewer with wide, flat feet said they were “Literally, the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.”

For anyone who wants something a more rugged without feeling undone, the Goldenstar Wildwood is where this drop gets especially fun. The strappy sandal mixes suede with CORDURA UltraLite Fabric and finishes the sandal with metal buckles and decorative bungees, giving it a playfully tactile gorpcore feel that’s way cuter than your average utility sandal. And while the Wildwood is new, the broader Goldenstar line already has strong shopper backing, with reviewers calling the sandals “Comfy and stylish!” and “The most comfortable sandal I have ever had on my feet.”

The brand also added the slimmer GoldenGaze Embossed Ankle Wrap, a croc-embossed ankle-wrap sandal with a more streamlined shape, and the GoldenGlow Hi Artistitch Sandal, a chestnut suede platform finished with whipstitch trim and wraparound ties, while the men’s side gets the Heritage Utility Axoid and Heritage Utility Sneaker Knoll.

Honestly, that’s what works about this spring shoe drop. UGG didn’t try to convince anyone to suddenly love uncomfortable sandals. It just took the styles shoppers already rave about, gave them croc texture, richer suede, buckles, a pop of rich color, and made them feel newer for spring. If your current sandals are cute but annoying, this is a pretty easy collection to shop. Why not treat yourself (and your feet) to a new pair for a fresh start to spring?
