US Offers $10 Million Reward for Information on Iran’s Mojtaba Khamenei
The US Department of State has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information about the whereabouts and activities of Mojtaba Khamenei.
The offer was issued through the Rewards for Justice Program, which said the reward would be granted for credible information regarding Khamenei’s location, status and activities. Authorities said tips could be submitted through secure channels such as encrypted messaging platforms.
Mojtaba Khamenei assumed leadership in Iran after the reported death of his father, Ali Khamenei, during the first day of joint military strikes carried out by the United States and Israel.
Reports say he was also injured during the attacks that killed several members of his family. Since his appointment, no new photos, videos or audio recordings of him have been publicly released, fueling speculation about his health and whereabouts.
The reward announcement comes as fighting between Iran and its rivals intensifies across the region. Recent US strikes have reportedly targeted military facilities on Kharg Island, one of Iran’s most strategic energy locations.
Regional tensions have also extended to Saudi Arabia, where reports said Iranian rocket strikes damaged five US aerial refueling aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base.
In Iraq, security concerns have also increased after a rocket struck the compound of the United States Embassy Baghdad, highlighting the broader impact of the conflict across the Middle East.
The latest developments illustrate the rapidly escalating confrontation between Iran, the United States and Israel, raising fears that the ongoing conflict could expand further across the region.
