Kate Hudson Accepts Showperson of the Year Prize from ICG Publicists Awards Ahead of Oscars 2026
Kate Hudson is being celebrated ahead of the Oscars!
The Song Sung Blue actress was honored with the Motion Picture Showperson of the Year prize at the 2026 ICG Publicists Awards on Friday afternoon (March 13) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“Making movies is an extraordinary process; it doesn’t end when we wrap,” Kate said while accepting the award (via THR).
She added, “We are also tasked with bringing that magic to audiences, and publicity is a huge part of that. I’m the showperson and you’re the ship.”
Kate is nominated for Best Actress at this weekend’s Oscars for her work in the Focus Features movie Song Sung Blue. If you haven’t watched it yet, you can stream it now on Peacock as part of your subscription.
Kate‘s Music co-star Leslie Odom Jr. presented the award to her. Other winners at the event included The Pitt‘s Noah Wyle, who received the Television Showperson of the Year, and Jimmy Kimmel, who got the President’s Award.
Find out why Kate had to find a “last minute” date for the Actor Awards earlier this month.
FYI: Kate is wearing a Georges Chakra Couture dress.
