Nagaland sets up 13-member panel to monitor registration of births, deaths
In a bid to enhance its civil registration system, Nagaland has established a 13-member Inter-Departmental Coordination Committee, led by the chief secretary. This strategic move aims to achieve 100% birth and death registrations within just 21 days, adhering to national standards. The committee will unite health, local governance, police, revenue, and education sectors to foster collaboration.
