Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex-husband is Tate Paul, to whom she was married from November 2017 until May 2022. The exes share a daughter, Indy, who was born in August 2017, and a son, Ocean, born in June 2020.
Taylor later welcomed a son, Ever, with now-ex Dakota in 2024.

Since his split from Taylor, Tate has gone on to welcome another baby with his now-wife, Bailey. While he has remained largely under the radar, he did reveal back in August 2023 that he was due to become a dad for the third time.
“Our cute baby girl is coming in October,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself and Bailey. “We cannot wait to meet her! I love them so much!”
Tate shared a rare social media update on May 11, 2025, posting a tribute to Bailey for Mother’s Day. “Words cannot describe how incredible of a Mother and wife that you are! You never put yourself first. Our kids and I are beyond lucky to have you! I love you so much!” he wrote.

Tate Paul’s wife, Bailey Paul, is a Utah-based esthetician. Taylor told Today that she has a close relationship with Tate and Bailey, calling her ex her “good friend” and adding, “I’m buddies with (Tate’s) partner.” She added: “I don’t know if that makes anyone uncomfortable, but that’s OK, because I think it’s part of my story. It’s authentic.”

In May 2022, Taylor took to TikTok live to address allegations that she had cheated on her husband after revealing that they were separating. Taylor revealed that she and Tate had been engaging in “soft swinging” with a group of other couples in the Mormon influencer space.
Taylor claimed that she and her husband had agreed to experiment with other people provided that spouses were present and that no sexual intercourse was had. However, she took things a step further when she stepped outside of their agreement.
“I ended up catching feelings for one of the men in the group,” Taylor revealed on The Viall Files podcast on September 4, 2024, revealing that she had an emotional affair, which progressed to having sex with the man without her husband being present. “I ended up coming clean,” she added, revealing this was the final straw in their already-fractured marriage.
“The divorce is not like, all because of this huge blow-up [in our friend group]. It was more ’cause I feel like we had a lot of other issue,s and then this was the tip of the iceberg,” Taylor said back in 2022.

Taylor & Tate Are On Good Terms
While appearing on The Viall Files in 2024, Taylor said that she and Tate are on good terms. “We’re great, we go to soccer games every week together, and we talk daily,” she said. “We don’t have to be friends [but] we are.”
In November 2025, she gave a rare shoutout to Tate while filming The Bachelorette. “Indy and Ocean have the best daddy. Bringing them out to me,” she wrote in an Instagram Story alongside a picture of her son and daughter visiting her in California.
Will Tate Paul Be On The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 4?
Tate has never appeared on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and will not star in season 4.
During her 2024 appearance on The Viall Files, Taylor said that Tate and Bailey were approached but ultimately decided to stay off the show and keep their children out of it, too.
In May, Georgia Berger, the executive producer of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, confirmed to SheKnows that the cast members who are separated from their children’s fathers typically keep them off the show. “Those dads aren’t as aware of what’s being filmed, so it’s more sensitive,” Berger said.
