Supercomputer predicts Tottenham’s chances of beating Liverpool at Anfield
Tottenham face a daunting test this weekend as they travel to Anfield, with Opta’s supercomputer predicting their chances of securing a crucial win over Liverpool in the Premier League.
There are nine games left to play and 27 points up for grabs for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this season.
Securing at least three more victories might be enough for Spurs to avoid the drop to the Championship, as the 30-point safety net might not be enough this time around.
Tottenham, in 16th, are on 29 points, while 18th-placed West Ham United sit on 28 points, alongside 17th-placed Nottingham Forest, with all three sides having played 29 games – leaving everything to play for.

However, securing a win over Liverpool is not entirely unheard of, as Tottenham did beat them 1-0 in the Carabao Cup last year.
Opta’s supercomputer has now crunched the numbers and predicted Spurs’ chances of coming away with a victory on Sunday.
The AI model has given Tottenham a 16.1% chance of securing a win, while Liverpool has a 65.1% chance of walking away with all three points.
Spurs hope for Anfield surprise amid relegation fight
The Reds have not been the formidable side they were last season when they won the league, and they could be beaten.
20th-placed Wolves secured a victory against Arne Slot’s side last time out in the league, while Galatasaray beat Liverpool 1-0 in the Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie.
Spurs could take a leaf from their book as they look to take the fight to Anfield. Eyes will also be on West Ham United and Nottingham Forest games.
The two sides play before Tottenham, and should they secure victories in their respective matches, Spurs could be kicking off matchweek 30 in the relegation zone.
West Ham face Manchester City, and the Hammers have been handed a 22.2% chance of winning, while Forest take on Fulham and the 17th-placed side has been given a 42.3% chance of beating the Cottagers.
