‘Revenge’: Khamenei the younger threatens United States, Israel
Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late fallen ayatollah who ran the rogue Islamic terror regime in Iran for years, sponsoring mayhem and destruction around the world through its proxies, has issued a statement.
He purportedly has been appointed to replace his late father at the helm of the Iranian regime.
Khamenei, the younger, now has released a statement, but did not appear on camera to deliver it himself.
He is demanding “revenge” for the joint U.S.-Israeli effort to destroy Iran’s potential for building nuclear weapons and inflict death and destruction on others.
Further, he said “the closure of the Strait of Hormuz should continue as a means of exerting pressure on the enemy.” It is through that sea passage that much of the world’s oil supplies travel, and Iran’s attempts to close it have roiled oil markets worldwide for now.
The speech was read by a newscaster for Iranian state media.
Reports explain Mojtaba Khamenei has been named to replace his father, the late Ali Khamenei.
The younger Khamenei reportedly was injured, but details are unknown. He has not been seen in public since the reported injury.
In the state TV broadcast, the statement demanded “revenge for the blood of your martyrs.”
“The retribution we have in mind is not limited to the martyrdom of the great leader of the revolution alone. Every member of the nation martyred by the enemy constitutes an independent matter for the file of retribution,” the statement said.
Further, the statement threatened that Iran will “extract reparations from the enemy.”
And he claimed if he is not given what he demands, “we will seize from their assets to the extent we deem appropriate, and if that too is not possible, we will destroy an equivalent amount of their assets.”
Iran repeatedly has fired missiles and drones at Israel, at U.S. military bases in the region and even other Gulf nations.
